Recommendations for the transport company when transporting goods
1. Clarify the sender’s instructions that you don’t understand
2. Make, if possible (at the sender, at customs, at the recipient), copies of all shipping documents – packing list, invoice, customs declaration;
3. Be careful that no one from the outside has the opportunity to study your documents. Write down the names and positions of persons (workers of internal affairs, customs officers) who had access to documents;
4. Do not discuss with outsiders the details of your transportation (the name and cost of the cargo, the place of delivery, the company of the recipient, etc.), if necessary, mislead them about the nature of the cargo you are transporting;
5. Stop for the night only at guarded parking lots! Park your trailer close to other road trains and to the walls of buildings to make it difficult to unload the car through a cut in the tent;
6. If you have a place of delivery confirmed by the invoice and instructions, go only there and nowhere else (to do this, find the address on the map in advance) or require the recipient to meet you and accompany you exactly to this place;
7. Write down the name of the person with whom you spoke on the phone, notifying of the arrival of the cargo and the exact time of each conversation;
8. Do not enter into a conversation with the Persons who identified themselves as the recipient until they present the POWER OF ATTORNEY TO RECEIVE THE CARGO AND THE PASSPORT. Do not under any circumstances show them the documents. If you are threatened, contact the recipient and the police immediately.
9. Write down the make and number of the recipient’s car.
10. If the person receiving the goods promises to bring a power of attorney after a while, contact the recipient again by phone and confirm the authority of this person (by describing him), and write down the name of the person who spoke to you and the exact time of the conversation;
11. Always be with the car and the load! Do not leave them at the recipient’s disposal until the paperwork is finalized.
12. Ask the person who confirmed his authority to immediately mark you a travel certificate or a waybill with a seal and signature before going to unload;
13. Carefully study and clearly follow all the instructions of the sender or forwarder!;
14. Transfer the documents personally to the customs officer in the form, while writing down his name and certificate number;
15.After unloading, contact the recipient and your company again and report the unloading;
16. Carefully check the name of the beneficiary on the seal;
17.If a reboot occurs to another machine, contact the recipient’s office and confirm the download. Write down the make and number of the car;
18. In case of problems, contact your transport company or a representative of the Forwarding Company immediately.
If you have any problems.
1.You can’t find the recipient’s address;
2. Persons at the specified address refuse to accept the goods and send you somewhere else;
3. You were approached with a proposal to unload at another warehouse or reload on another machine;
4. Your written instructions are not clear, you have no instructions at all;
5. You have any doubts or difficulties related to the delivery.
Contact your company or a representative of the forwarding company. Do not, under any circumstances, deliver the shipment to an address or person other than those specified in your instructions, without the express permission of your company.
If possible, recalculate the cargo and get a clear receipt on the consignment note from the recipient that the cargo was accepted without any comments on quantity and quality. If the recipient suspects a shortage or damage:
1. Do not sign any acts confirming this;
2. Contact your transport company or a representative of the Forwarding Company.
who will coordinate your actions and give you the necessary instructions; 3. Do not allow the goods to be picked up until inspection has been carried out.
If you have any real suspicions about unloading, or if you have been threatened, report to the police/police immediately.
If the same problems arose with customs clearance or your car was detained at the border crossing on suspicion of forging customs seals and other means of identification, immediately contact the customs authorities at the place of cutting with a written application, and by all means make a statement to the police (police). Contact your transport company or a representative of the Forwarding Company.
