Transportation of vegetable oil in tanks
Transportation of vegetable oil in tanks
Transportation of vegetable oil (corn, sunflower – refined and unrefined) is carried out in two common ways: packaged and bulk. In the first case, barrels, flasks, bottles and other containers with oil are loaded into the transport. In the second, oil is transported by road and rail tanks. Transportation of vegetable oil in bulk is the most convenient and economical way.
Before filling, the tanks must be washed and dried, checked for all sanitary and environmental regulations. Oil is pumped into the tank through a special pipeline. If all hygiene standards have been met and the transport is ready for shipment, then the transportation of vegetable oil will not cause any problems during transportation.
It is only important to observe the delivery time – to preserve all its nutritional qualities, the oil should not be in transit for more than 1 month.
